Swatchey Schemey

Introduction When I first read the instructions for this assignment, I was intrigued because I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I knew that I wanted to use a picture from my photostory, but a lot of the area in the studio is black. However, when looking through my pictures, I came across a photo that had pops of color throughout the entirety of the scene. I immediately knew that this would be the photo that I would use and I was excited to experiment with the colors in the picture.  The Original Photo This is the original photo that I referred to for my color scheme. There are hints of purple, green, teal, and blue so I knew I could make something out of these colors. Color Scheme The first color that I wanted to focus on was the teal that is shown in two screens. I thought this color was very appealing and I was drawn to it right away. Me(me) is Not Impressed: The Kardashians By: Riley Manion When first hearing about this assignment I was excited because I knew that I wanted to do something with a specific meme. However, as a fan of the Kardashians, after watching their season premiere, I witnessed the perfect moment to turn into a meme. With everything going on in the world right now, I feel that this could help bring light to an intense situation. For this assignment, I found an image of Kim and Kourtney mid fight, and I edited myself in the background, looking on, very unamused. I used the selection tool to get myself alone and then used the duplicate layer section to add it to my Kardashian background layer. I then made it a smart object and resized it to look more natural. Using the selection tool again, I copy and pasted a section of the bed to make it look like I was standing behind it and not on top of it.
